The Art and Science of Location

Over the years, I’ve learned that the key to building a great team is starting with a vision. A vision consists of a plan that executes and delivers positive outcomes despite obstacles. Passion and dedication have allowed me to build a relationship-focused team. A team that can rely on one another. This has helped my team produce high quality products, which in return brings guaranteed satisfaction from our customers. During the pandemic, we faced many hardships as a department overall. We had to overcome adversities such as being short-staffed and dealing with material shortages. Fortunately, we were able to prevail with the help of hard work, dedication, and the foundation we started with. This proves how strong Blue Mountain can be.

Another positive fact that Blue Mountain offers is the pleasure of helping team members transform their jobs into careers, as it did for me. Everyone benefits from this. It helps coworkers expand their hidden talents, bringing them to the surface. Thereby making Blue Mountain a stronger company while providing a better future for their families. I have had the pleasure of being a Mountaineer for the last five years and it has been an amazing journey thus far. I hold this experience near and dear to my heart because this is not only a job but a career, as I know others feel. A man once said, “Success is no accident, it’s hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all love what you are doing,” and to me that is the beauty of being a Mountaineer.
